FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are your rates?

My typical rates are $100/hour on site and $50/hour for editing. For projects that ONLY require editing my rate is $75/hour. These may vary for unique circumstances. I also take travel time into account.

How do you take payments?

Cash is preferred. I also accept Checks, Cashapp, Venmo and Zelle.

Invoices can be provided for business purposes if needed.

How will I get my finished content?

I use Dropbox. When your content is ready, I will put everything in a Dropbox folder and send you a shareable link where you can access, save and send your content.

If you plan on saving anything to your phone, I highly recommend downloading the Dropbox app which will allow you to save the highest quality versions of your photos/videos.

What is your turn around time?

For photos, if needed I can deliver them to you within 24 hours. As for videos it can vary depending on the amount of footage and complexity of the video.

If you need your photos or video by a specific date, I can make sure that I have them to you by then.

Do you have your own photo studio?

No. I do not currently have my own studio for shooting photos or videos.

I do however know of many great spots in and around the Boston area if you are looking to book a session.

What is the best way to contact you?

The best way is by filling out the form on this page. After that I prefer text, email or Instagram.

How many edited photos will I get?

Within reason, I will edit and deliver to you as many photos as possible from our session. For events, this can be anywhere from 20-150+ photos. For portraits shoots, I can deliver anywhere from 5-50 photos.

The amount of delivered photos typically depends on the length of the shoot.

How far in advance should I book a shoot?

In most cases you should book your shoot at least one week in advance. If it requires a lot of planning then perhaps even a month. If you are trying to book me in less than a week, I may not have an opening.

Are you willing to travel?

Yes. Whether it is a long drive or you need me to fly across the country, I am willing to travel for a shoot.

Keep in mind that the travel time is taken into account when determining the price of your shoot.

How do you work after the shoot?

For photos, I can do one of two things. I can either pick out the photos that I think are the best, edit them and send you those, or I can send you a folder of raw photos for you to pick from and tell me which ones you would like me to edit.

For videos, after discussing ideas I will edit a first draft. After that you are allowed two revisions. Meaning if there is anything you want changed I will go back and change it for free. Then you can do that once more if needed. After the second revision, additional changes will cost extra.
